The Giro d’Italia is back in Treviso on May 22nd
The Giro d’Italia returns to Treviso in one of its final stages, on 26 May. The Borgo Valsugana-Treviso stage (146 km) will cross the Piave area and the hills of Valdobbiadene, a Unesco heritage site, before arriving in the capital. It will enter the province from the bridge over the Piave di Fener, cross Valdobbiadene all the hills of Prosecco Docg, Guia, Col San Martino, Pieve di Soligo, Refrontolo. Here there will be the inevitable climb to the Wall of Ca’ Del Poggio with the big party prepared by Alberto Stocco. Then the stage of the Giro will glide towards the plain. It will take the state road 13 Pontebbana to reach Fontane, pass through Treviso, then Fontane again and the finish in Treviso. It will be 85.1 kilometres in the Marca.
